Me , Lijuan and Qiaoyan went queensway to order th ilove404 tee and stumbled upon this tee .
(Anyway th ilove404 tee was $14 each)

Nice right ?
Yes it is , I know .
Super .
Actual colour is maroon .
But th picture turns out suckish due to th lightings at th shop .
So its much much more beautiful in real life .
I know its rather similar to 310'09's class tee .
But who cares .
Haha .
We'll order this maroon piece , and yay , we cn wear it during national day .
LOL .
So xd's still coming up with th design .
Hope we cn order this tee fast , cz I'm afraid next year they wont be having this design anymore .

Everyone , suggested by Lydia, would bring some of their favorite childhood snack. Like those Colorful disk things and YanYan biscuits and stuff like zat.
AND ! Ubin's got DELICIOUS SAMBAL KUNGKONG. I'm telling you, that is the ONLY spicy dish in exception to my spicy-food-less diet (:

So Yes, We're going there to bike, hike, sight-see and eat.
Dont worry if you dont bike- They have:
Mountain bikes, tandem bikes, tricycles, even bikes with side carts for babies or really lazy partners

I'm not sure if you have to pay to get back, so $5 in case :D
Getting a bike would be @ $3-$5, For a whole day rental.
PLUS however much you need to buy those SNACKS of yours, Would probably be less than $20 bucks.
WHY NOT INVEST IN THIS AWESOME OUTING TRIP WITH AWESOME 304 AND AWESOME AFTER EOYS :D?

From Tanah Merah MRT, take SBS Bus No. 2 to Changi Village (ends here)

Things to bring and/or wear:

At least 1 litre of drinking water - you can buy drinks along the way.
Snacks to enjoy a picnic by the beach.
A cap and sunblock but also a raincoat or poncho - both sun and rain are frequent and unpredictable!
Insect repellant, especially if you are vulnerable to insect bites.
Use shoes - covered-toes, laced and hard soles.
First aid kit.

Some of the Routes available. I dont know which would be more suitable for the group of us. I was thinking of the Chek Jawa one.. But i suppose that'd be kinda difficult when some of us cant ride >:

1. Northern Routes (relatively easy; 2 hours) Village leads to left and right loops which are no longer connected, after reaching northen coastline, double back and link to second loop via Jalan Batu Ubin. 1a. Noordin Trail Village, Basketball Court Jalan Batu Ubin (Pekan Quarry and heronry lookout point) Jalan Noordin Noordin Beach (toilets) (north coast view) Turn back, can join Maman Loop via Jalan Batu Ubin but be careful of the steep slope! 1b. Maman Loop Jalan Ubin (plantations) Can include Sensory Trail Loop (see 3a below). Take the trail (not road) past Murai Hut Former Orchid Farm (has rest point, drinks for sale and pets to see, including a large "tame wild boar"!) Mamam Beach (toilets) (north coast view) Jalan Maman (road) Jalan Sam Heng Jalan Ubin	Click for larger image
2. Western Ubin (longer routes to German Girl Shrine and former Thai temple; 3 hours) Jalan Jelutong. Ketam Mountain Bike Park - Blue Diamond Trail is passable to average cyclists but make way to other riders. This leads to lookout point with views of Ketam Quarry and mainland Singapore. On the way back - optional turn into Jalan Wat Siam to see Chinese cemetery on right of slope. Sharp right (do not enter OBS land) turn leads to site of *former Thai Temple* (now relocated to Punggol). Follow trail to the north coast to see Western Straits of Johor, the Ubin coastal fence and the souther Johor (Malaysian) coastline (north coast view). Turn back.	Click for larger image
3. Eastern Ubin - has offroad and hilly parts (toughest routes, requires some skill; 3 hours) 3a. Sensory Trail Loop Jalan Pekan Ubin -> Sensory Trail Enjoy the offroad experience Mangrove, prawn ponds and planted fruits Get off your bikes to visit the spice, fruit and vegetable gardens Sensory Trail rejoins Jalan Ubin 3b. Chek Jawa Route (cont'd from 1a) Look out for the Malay House on the left Head for the eastern tip of Ubin ALmost a secret: Look for one of the last signs of the Malay Village - the cemetery. It is situated along the coastal trail between Kelichap and Pekakak Huts. Punai Hut - leave bikes here to visit the Chek Jawa Visitor Centre and boardwalk Backtrack or alternatively, use the trail via Beberek Hut (see map). This is hilly so novices be prepared to push! HFMD usually affects infants and children, and is quite common. It is moderately contagious and is spread through direct contact with the mucus, saliva, or feces of an infected person.

Early symptoms are likely to be fever often followed by a sore throat. Loss of appetite and general malaise may also occur. Between one and two days after the onset of fever, painful sores may appear in the mouth and/or throat. A rash may become evident on the hands, feet, and occasionally the buttocks (but generally, the rash on the buttocks will be caused from the diarrhea.) Not all symptoms will be present in all cases.
There is no specific treatment for hand, foot and mouth disease. Individual symptoms, such as fever and pain from the sores, may be eased with the use of medication. HFMD is a viral disease that has to run its course; many doctors do not issue medicine for this illness, unless the infection is severe. Infection in older children, adolescents, and adults is normally very mild and lasts around 1 week or sometimes more. Fever reducers will help to control high temperatures. Luke-warm baths will also help bring temperature down.
Only a very small minority of sufferers require hospital admission.

Clementi Bomb!

What's believed to be an unexploded bomb was discovered at a construction site in Commonwealth Avenue West yesterday afternoon.
Construction next to Nan Hua High School came to a halt at around 5 PM, and the police and army were called in soon after.
Eyewitness Kevin Magnus, who stays on the 18th floor of an HDB block facing the construction site, has been monitoring the situation using binoculars since last night.
Speaking to 938LIVE, Mr Magnus, who handled ordinances during his national service stint, believes he saw a bomb uncovered by the excavators.
"I peered down, and there seems to be a bit of, some commotion with the site supervisors. Thereafter the excavators stopped with their digging. And I was at the balcony peering down and I had a clear look. After they had cleared the earth, and they found a piece of cylindrical material. It looks cylindrical with fins. It looks like a bomb, 60 to 80 pounder."
Mr Magnus said that four men from the Bomb Disposal Unit were brought in, and the whole area was cordoned off by the police.
As of 12.30pm today, officers from the Singapore Armed Forces were seen digging a trench about a kilometre away from the bomb location.
Mr Magnus believes the trench will be used to detonate the bomb.
"There is a trench, which looks like what we used in the Armed Forces, a "shell scrap". I'm not too sure how deep it is. Surrounding it, there are concrete blocks, where you use concrete blocks to do weight piling. To do soil testing, there are 8 of them. And to the right of the concrete blocks, there are national service men filling up the sand bags with the earth from the construction site."
Police have confirmed that a "war relic" has been found, but were unable to provide further details.
Operations are currently ongoing to secure the site.
Police add that members of the public are advised not to be alarmed.
